INFORMATION :
Camp Hours are from 9 a.m to 3:30 p.m. Campers will meet at the north end of school at the bus loop (Shenandoah Street). Parents have to sign an attendance sheet in the morning and the afternoon in order to drop off and pick up their child. Early drop off is available at 8:30 a.m. Once the children are assembled, camp staff will escort the children up to the computer lab.
PROGRAM CONTENT :
The program will introduce a better understanding of computer hardware and software as the campers will learn programming. The basics of engineering will be introduced as campers will also go through the steps necessary to program and actually utilize a Lego robot that they created. Finally, campers will gain a better understanding of the physics behind rockets as they simulate their very own rocket launches. Minecraft will also be used at this camp to train your children with electrical, nuclear, and mechanical engineering concepts through a simple game they already know and love.
